Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour Churchill
Description
When the end of the evening is the start of something new. And the night is filled with interesting thoughts and conversation, this is the right time for – The Late Hour. This cigar should itself be a topic of conversation, as it has its own unique history. Its tobacco is matured in barrels used for the finest Scotch Single Malt Whisky. This lends the cigar a unique complexity and depth, with exceptionally rich aromas which will stimulate both your palate and your conversation. The two filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, which are cultivated in the mineral-rich volcanic earth of Condega and Estelí, give the cigar a special piquancy and character. In particular the Condega Visus from Nicaragua, which is matured in original Scotch Single Malt whisky barrels, gives the cigar a mysterious sweetness and depth of flavour. The two different Visus filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and the dark Mexican binder work together to produce the complexity of this full-bodied blend. Pronounced flavours and aromas delight the palate with alternating notes of black pepper, dark coffee, sweetness, old leather, wood and spices. To reflect the darkness of the night, when Churchill was at his most creative, Davidoff has selected a glossy and oily wrapper from Ecuador in a saturated, dark chocolate colour. Duration of enjoyment: 65 minutes, wrapper: Ecuador - Marron Oscuro, wrapper: Mexico - Negro San Andres, filler: Dominican Republic - Olor Visus, Dominican Republic - Piloto Seco, Dominican Republic - San Vicente Mejorado Visus, diameter: 19 mm, ring gauge: 48 Length: 17.8 cm, origin of tobacco: Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua Strength: 4.5/5
