Description
The terroir of the Premier Cru vineyard Aux Serpentières is undoubtedly one of the highest quality in Savigny-lès-Beaune, a village in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune. It is oriented towards the south and faces the hill of Corton with a view of the Charlemagne! This Premier Cru from Remoissenet reveals aromas of fresh, velvety red berry fruit, a hint of spice and is medium-bodied on the palate with a great structure. A Burgundy that promises a lot of drinking pleasure today, but will be at its best in a few years and will reward those who are patient.

Côte de Beaune: guarantor of elegance
The city of Beaune is the cultural and economic centre of Burgundy. The prestigious vineyard sites, stretching in a band from Santenay (located about 20 kilometres south of Beaune) to the village of Aloxe-Corton (five kilometres north of Beaune), form the Côte de Beaune. Legendary, uniquely expressive crus originate here. In fact, the most prestigious Chardonnay growths in the world are produced around Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault.
