Arlett Single Malt Whisky Français
Arlett Single Malt Whisky Français
Distillerie Tessendier & Fils, 700 ml
Description
The latest project of the Tessendier family, which has mastered the art of distillation for generations, is the production of vintage-style whisky; a homage to the 1950s and to Jérôme and Lilian Tessendier's mother «Arlett». The Arlett Singe Malt matures for 3 years in new American oak as well as bourbon casks and convinces with rich and round aromatic power, good fullness and length. On the nose, fruity and woody notes appear first, followed by honey, cocoa and finally soft wood. In the mouth, the attack is clear and direct, with aromatic richness, a velvety feel and a hint of blond tobacco. A true discovery among French whiskies!
Top Recommandation – Best Whisky Shop 2025 Award

France – Philosophy in a bottle
According to French philosophy, wine should be an expression of the soil and climate. They use the word “terroir” to describe this. Terroir makes every wine different, and many especially good. French wine is regarded worldwide as an expression of cultural perfection. The French believe that humans are responsible for the quality of the berries, the vine variety for their character, and nature for the quantity. This philosophy can be expressed succinctly as: “the truth is the vineyard, not the man.”
