Cognac Park VS, Carte Blanche
Cognac Park VS, Carte Blanche
Distillerie Tessendier & Fils, 700 ml
Description
Lush, mild and slightly sweet on the nose of yellow stone fruits, it reveals aromas on the palate that are reminiscent of candied ginger, flowers, dried fruit and fine tobacco leaves. It is fresh and very drinkable and is suitable for pure enjoyment as well as for cocktails. The VS is the classic, most original of the cognacs. The one presented here is an outstanding example of what a small, fine cognac house is capable of producing. This blend of Fins Bois and Petite Champagne matured for 6 months in new oak barrels (medium toasted), then for another 6 months in already used oak barrels.

France – Philosophy in a bottle
According to French philosophy, wine should be an expression of the soil and climate. They use the word “terroir” to describe this. Terroir makes every wine different, and many especially good. French wine is regarded worldwide as an expression of cultural perfection. The French believe that humans are responsible for the quality of the berries, the vine variety for their character, and nature for the quantity. This philosophy can be expressed succinctly as: “the truth is the vineyard, not the man.”
