Caribbean-French liaison. Despite the distillery's French name: this rum comes 100 per cent from Jamaica. A meticulous selection of distillates from the Caribbean island matures for two years in American white oak barrels that previously housed bourbon. Jamaica's high humidity and tropical warmth ensure ripe, highly concentrated flavours. Then the batches travel across the ocean to France, where they are assembled by Cognac master Jérôme Tessendier. The result is aged for another 24 months in French oak barrels on the banks of the Charente. This speciality seduces with aromas of fresh banana and yellow fruits, combined with a touch of wood. On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied with exotic fruit. Without added sugar.
