Description

This rum comes 100% from Trinidad and was created from a meticulous selection of distillates from the unique terroir of the Caribbean island. Master blender Jérome Tessendier's intention is to present the typicity of this terroir in a perfect balance, thanks to the richness and intensity from the distillation of molasses in pot stills combined with the delicacy and lightness from the distillation of sugar cane in columns. The selected rums are matured for 5 years in American white oak barrels previously used for bourbon. Maturation takes place on the island of Trinidad, where the high humidity and tropical warmth significantly facilitate this process, resulting in the development of ripe, highly concentrated aromas. The matured rum batches travel across the ocean to France to be blended by the cognac master Jérôme Tessendier. In France, they are blended according to the criteria of floral, fruity, spicy and aged for another 24 months in various French oak barrels. The result is a mature, very harmonious rum whose typical aromas are accompanied by notes of tobacco, chocolate and vanilla. The finish is long, spicy and warming. Without added sugar.
