Easy Sipper North British Single Grain Scotch Whisky, 11 years 2011
Lowlands, The Whisky Cellar, 700 ml
Producer: | The Whisky Cellar |
Origin: | United Kingdom / Lowlands |
Description
Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky from the North British Distillery in Edinburgh presents the light aromas of vanilla, buttercream, toffee, citrus fruits and a hint of coconut typical of single grain. On the palate, it is accessible and soft on the finish. What started as an idea during the lockdown in the UK has become a reality. Founder Keith Bonnington thought: what if we could bottle the sweetest whiskies imaginable to celebrate the physical reunion of friends? The kind of whiskies that everyone enjoys. The kind where you pop the cork and never see it again. With rays of sunlight meandering to distant mountains, rainbows, a hot air balloon and the hope of better times ahead. Because, who doesn't enjoy the sight of a hot air balloon with a good glass of whisky in hand? Easy sipper means easy drinking!

The Whisky Cellar
The Whisky Cellar was founded in 2017 as an independent Scottish bottler by whisky expert Keith Bonnington
Bonnington, who lives in the heart of Edinburgh, can look back on a career in whisky spanning almost two decades. For over 10 years he was responsible at Edrington for brands such as the Macallan and Highland Park.
Lowlands
Lowlands: Hochprozentig subtil
