Tasting new Winery of the Year 2026/2027 – Shop Regensdorf

Álvaro Palacios and Ricardo Pérez Palacios – does this name sound Spanish to you?

Rightly so: this year’s «Winemakers of the Year» from Spain are not one, but two luminaries of the wine world. From the steep slate slopes of Priorat to the cooler, green hills of Bierzo and on to the renowned Rioja, the two have created a fascinating world of wines.

Tasting new Winery of the Year 2026/2027 – Shop Regensdorf

The name Palacios stands for pioneering spirit in Priorat, as well as for characterful Garnacha and Mencía wines from Rioja and Bierzo—shaped by an uncompromising commitment to quality and a Burgundy-inspired philosophy of terroir-driven vineyard sites, from entry-level wines to single-vineyard crus.

We look forward to discovering and tasting the wines of our Winemakers of the Year 2026/2027 together with you. Delicious tapas will be served to accompany the wines. The tasting is free of charge (with the exception of rarities); no registration is required. The selection of wines will be available shortly before the event in the DeguVino app.

By the way: it's well worth making the trip to Regensdorf! Come and take a look at our impressive high-bay warehouse and rare wine room. Free parking is available directly in front of the wine shop, and we are also easily accessible by public transport from Zurich main station in around 30 minutes.
