Garganega

Freshness from Veneto

Delicate and fresh, with fine citrus and almond aromas, full-bodied and dense, deposited by a mineral vein – these are how wines from the Garganega grape taste. It is an age-old white variety, already mentioned in writing in the 13th century. Its home and stronghold is located in Veneto. At 70 to 100 percent, it is the principal ingredient of Soave. In addition, it plays a key role in Bianco di Custoza. In Sicily, it has been grown for centuries under the name Grecanico.
