Mauro Molino
The Mauro Molino winery is located in the heart of the rolling hills of Piedmont, where morning mist hangs over the vineyards and the sun spreads its warm rays over the chalky soil. For over 40 years, the Molino family has been producing wines with character – deeply rooted in tradition, yet open to new ideas.
The history of the winery began in 1982, when Mauro Molino, after years of experience in viticulture, decided to lay the foundation for today's family business in his hometown of La Morra. Over the years, not only did the vineyard grow, but so did the company – in 2003, his son Matteo Molino joined the wine production business, followed in 2008 by his daughter Martina Molino, both graduates of the Alba School of Oenology. Martina is responsible for sales and organisation, while Matteo focuses primarily on wine production.
The family cultivates around 20 hectares of vineyards in some of Piedmont's most exciting locations: in addition to La Morra, known for its elegant and long-lasting Barolos, they also own vineyards in Guarene, Farigliano and Costigliole d'Asti. The diversity of soils, microclimates and altitudes allows them to capture the many facets of Piedmont's wine world.

The wines reflect the interplay of calcareous soils, cool climate and careful work in the vineyard. The vineyards in La Morra in particular give the wines elegance, depth and fine aromas – as impressively demonstrated by the estate's Barolos. Sustainability is part of everyday life here: organic fertilisation, natural vegetation and a respectful approach to nature characterise the work and ensure authentic wines that vividly tell the story of their origins.
«Our wines are our life – they are the past, present and future in which we invest.» – Matteo and Martina Molino.

Weingut Nicolussi-Leck
The Kreithof, as the ancestral estate is known, is located near the idyllic Lake Caldaro in South Tyrol (Alto Adige) and has been cultivated by the Nicolussi-Leck family since 1915. Standing guard over it are the medieval ruins of Leuchtenburg Castle, which – like the estate – dates back to the 13th century and was presumably also associated with nearby Laimburg Castle in the Etsch Valley.
Fattoria La Gerla / Sergio Rossi
Standing on La Gerla's terrace, one's view sweeps over Montalcino's peaceful landscape with its hills, vineyards, slim cypresses, and estates scattered all around. Nestled in the Colli Senesi to the south of Siena, the area comprises approx. 2000 hectares (up from just sixty hectares 50 years ago!).
G. & J. Guillerault / Sebastian Fargette
Gilles Guillerault and Sébastien Fargette are based in Crézancy-en-Sancerre, a few kilometres west of Sancerre, in the Centre-Loire region. A lovely hilly landscape where vineyards alternate with charming villages. With around 2400 hectares of vineyards, Sancerre is a rather small wine-growing region. Only two grape varieties are cultivated, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
