Description
Glentauchers is a Speyside Distillery near Keith that was established in 1898. This pale straw-coloured Glentauchers was matured for 12 years in its original first fill Bourbon barrel. On the nose, aromas of Barley sugar, shortbread, fresh lemon zest and creamy malt. The palate shows lemon posset, spicy oak, buttery brioche and pear drops, with a gentle toasted oak spice and ripe pear finish. There is nothing complicated about this – just ‘Tauchers at its very best.
