Description

Distilled on the remote Isle of Jura, this single malt matured for eight years in two selected Oloroso sherry octave casks – combining the rugged character of the island with the warm spice of sherry. Bottled by independent «whisky bottler» Keith Bonnington for The Whisky Cellar's Private Cellar Selection. The glass reveals aromas of cloves and sultanas, accompanied by dried apricots, fine oak smoke and a hint of honey cake. Soft and spicy on the palate, with a long, warm finish and subtle sherry sweetness. A whisky for special evenings – when the wind is blowing outside and the fire is crackling. Serve with a piece of dark chocolate. Perfect match.
