This rye whisky marks the Pintail series' first foray into the world of American whisky - and what a foray it is! Matured in American oak and refined for 14 months in Oloroso sherry casks, it developed a surprisingly complex character in the hot climate of Indiana. The nose entices with notes of cooked apples, sultanas and mint. Flavours of apple crumble, vanilla and toasted oak follow on the palate. The creamy finish offers nuances of mocha, festive spices and a hint of mint. Perfect for a relaxed end to the day.
