Description

Aroma, aroma, aroma… this alcohol-free sparkling wine from Italy is guaranteed to be a hit. It shines at its most aromatic: lychee, elderflower and ripe pear create an intense, inviting bouquet. On the palate, it is exceptionally fresh, with delicate citrus notes, juicy fruit, a hint of blossom and a pleasant sweetness—without ever feeling heavy. The fine bubbles and subtle sweetness make it the perfect companion for mild to lightly spicy Asian dishes or for relaxed get-togethers. Or how about a non-alcoholic Hugo?

Sacchetto

For over a hundred years, the Sacchetto family has devoted itself to winemaking with passion. The winery is led by the siblings Beatrice and Paolo, together with the people who work alongside them and help shape its identity. They all share one vision: to create wines that express their origin – and tell a story.

The roots of the business stretch back to the early 20th century in Veneto, where wine was an integral part of the local culture. After the war, founder Sisto Sacchetto began trading in grapes and expanded the business in the 1950s and 60s by growing his own grapes and producing wine from them. His son Filiberto carried on this vision and developed the family business into an internationally active winery. His children, Paolo and Beatrice, followed in his footsteps and now run the business in its third generation – modern, forward-looking and with a keen sense for innovation and international markets.

A particular highlight is the «Mille Bolle non-alcoholic»: a spumante that combines pleasure with lightness. It is first produced in the same way as a classic wine – from the grape to fermentation. The alcohol is then gently removed using reverse osmosis. This precise process preserves the wine’s aromas and delicate bouquet. The result is a wonderfully fragrant, alcohol-free sparkling wine with an exotic, fruity touch – perfect for carefree moments and festive occasions.

Veneto: land of the Amarone and Prosecco

Veneto stretches from the Alpine foothills, through the flat Po Valley, to the Gulf of Venice on the Adriatic coast. Two types of wine in particular have been able to celebrate spectacular successes here in recent years: Amarone growths impress with their opulent body and force, while the cheerfully bubbling Proseccos please with their fruity, grape freshness. But the region also produces drinkable everyday wines, including the white Soave and the red Bardolino.

Italy – Where wine is a way of life

The Italian wine regions are extremely diverse, and this is made clear in their wines. Established varieties such as Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon can be found on just 15 percent of the total vine growing area. The remaining 85 percent is reserved for autochthonous, indigenous varieties. More than 2,000 different grape varieties are grown under diverse conditions and pressed with various techniques into wines that reach the top tier of the international wine market.
