Villa Carumè
Villa Carumè is situated between Mazara del Vallo and Trapani, where the wind blows in from the Mediterranean across the vineyards and the sun shines practically all year round. The vineyards benefit from a warm Mediterranean climate, plenty of sunshine and constant sea breezes. Here, wines are produced from typical Sicilian grape varieties such as Grillo and Nero d’Avola.
Behind Villa Carumè stands the Caruso family, which has been involved in viticulture in western Sicily for generations. The brand name pays homage to the family and emphasises the winery’s close connection to its origins and terroir. At the same time, Villa Carumè conveys this heritage in a youthful, playful and contemporary style.
The winery is housed in a renovated 18th-century baglio, where historic walls and modern cellar technology blend harmoniously. The focus is on meticulous work in the vineyard and precise winemaking, ensuring that each grape variety can develop its own character.
The approximately 130 hectares of vineyards are spread across altitudes ranging from 100 to 600 metres above sea level. The proximity to the sea, sunny days and cooling breezes create the perfect conditions for viticulture. The grapes ripen under ideal conditions, retaining a pleasant freshness that lends the wines vibrancy and balance.
Sustainability is firmly embedded at Villa Carumè. The vineyards are organically farmed, complemented by the SOStain and VIVA programmes, which promote a responsible approach to nature and resources. With Grillo and Nero d’Avola, Villa Carumè focuses on two grape varieties that epitomise Sicily like few others. The result is approachable wines that charmingly reflect the landscape, climate and relaxed way of life of western Sicily.

To the left and right of the Middle Rhine, medieval castles and picturesque villages follow in quick succession. Bacharach is one of the most beautiful towns in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once there, the locality of Steeg can be reached on foot within half an hour or by car in just five minutes.
Massena / Jaysen Collins
Dan Standish and Jaysen Collins were college friends, and in the late 1990s they decided to put their talents together to produce wine. Recently, Jaysen Collins has taken charge of the "Massena" project on his own.The grapes are purchased from growers in Greenock, Kalimna and Koonunga Hill in the northwest Barossa Valley.

De Toren is one of the first wineries in South Africa to producing classic Bordeaux-style wines. Since its foundation, the De Toren vision has been and remains the reinterpretation of the Bordeaux concept and to create unique South African wines from the five grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. De Toren is one of the first wineries in South Africa to producing classic Bordeaux-style wines.
