Weingut Nadine Saxer
With a great deal of passion, craftsmanship and a keen eye for quality, Nadine Saxer is now one of Switzerland’s best-known female winemakers. At the family winery in Neftenbach, in the Zurich wine region, she produces wines that, year after year, impress wine lovers and expert juries alike.
The history of the winery began in the 1990s with Jürg Saxer. Today, his daughter Nadine Saxer runs the family business together with her husband, Stefan Gysel Saxer, and a dedicated team. A great deal of manual labour in the vineyard, natural viticulture and meticulous winemaking form the basis for the high quality of the wines.
With its sun-drenched vineyards, temperate climate and fertile soils, the Zurich Wine Country offers ideal conditions for winegrowing. It is precisely these conditions in the Zurich Wine Country that particularly benefit Riesling-Silvaner and Pinot Noir, whilst also providing the perfect environment for specialities such as Gamaret.
Nadine Saxer’s wines are characterised by a combination of rich fruitiness, elegance and freshness. Names such as «Nobler Weisser», «Nobler Blauer» and «Der Besondere» have long since become the estate’s flagship wines. Year after year, numerous awards and medals rightly attest to the consistent quality of her outstanding wines.
Producer
Mauro Molino
The Mauro Molino winery is located in the heart of the rolling hills of Piedmont, where morning mist hangs over the vineyards and the sun spreads its warm rays over the chalky soil. For over 40 years, the Molino family has been producing wines with character – deeply rooted in tradition, yet open to new ideas.
Nyetimber
For the last quarter-century, England has played a very special role in the world of wines – an exotic in moist and chilly northern Europe.
Rocche Costamagna / Alessandro Locatelli
The wines of Rocche-Costamagna are a result of the perfect interplay of geographical location, meticulous care both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and decades of experience.
